Six companies earned a seat on the Veterans Affairs’ novel VHA Integrated Healthcare Transformation contract. This contract has a ceiling value of $1 billion and a length of up to ten years (5 years base and 5 option years). As this is a brand-new IDIQ with the VHA, there are no associated incumbents.
There was a total of ten companies that bid on the contract. Those who made the grade will compete for task orders to work with the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) on upgrading the health care system used for veterans. The six awardees are Aptive HTG, HRS Consulting Inc.,
RB Management Consultants LLC, Sierra 7, Titan Alpha, LLC, and Trilogy Federal LLC.
The Integrated Healthcare Transformation provides support to the agency’s modernization initiative. Upcoming task orders will entail work through a number of capability areas within 3 functional categories: Health System Transformation and Innovation, Implementation and Operations Support, and Health Care Business Enabling Services.
Functional Category 1 work areas are comprised of change management, strategic planning and communications, business process re-engineering, project and program management, and management and improvement. Category 2 includes training development and delivery, studies and analyses, and policy research and development. Finally, Category 3 encompasses human resources, supply chain management, financial services management, and acquisitions.
